Interfaith Action Soup Kitchen

Thanks to all of you who provide and serve meals at our Interfaith Action Sunday Soup Kitchen

here at St. Paul's.  Thank you for your commitment, generosity and compassion so that our

  • Who provides and serves the meals?

Volunteer serving groups provide the meals.  Continuing to keep everyone safe, groups purchase food from local Evanston restaurants or provide their own meals.  These are distributed by St. Paul's volunteers as "to go meals" Sunday afternoons.   Before signing up on the meal calendar, please be in touch with St. Paul's meal ministry coordinator Paula K. or church office to touch base and learn about new updates.

2023 Ministry news

St. Paul's is grateful to look forward to another year of being able to serve the hungry with community groups.  However, the pandemic has had lasting effects, including on how we serve.  In 2023, we will continue distributing meals to our guests "to go". St. Paul's does not anticipate that we will return to in-person dining in 2023.

If your group needs a cooking and preparation space, you are welcome to gather at St. Paul's kitchen to prepare and pack up meals Sunday mornings or Saturdays depending on availability.

If you or anyone in your group is interested in helping to pack up and distribute meals on 12:00 - 1, Sunday mornings we would welcome the help.  Please let Paula K. ministry coordinator know in advance if you'd like to do that. If there is another way you would like to participate, share ideas or suggestions we would love to hear them,

Help us provide a meal every single week in collaboration with over 25 community groups - feeding 5,000 a year inside and out.  Support the Interfaith Action Sunday Soup Kitchen at St. Paul's and feed our neighbor.
